Hot Days

G'day everyone,

Well finally the weather has struck and boy am I boiling me nuts off. Yesterday it got to 37 degrees and I reckon the humidity was about 100%. What made things worse was that the whole Toronto public transport system was on strike so I had to walk to work about 3 hours in the heat along with almost a million other people caught without transport. We had a nice weekend here it was in the mid 20's but playing footy on Saturday, it felt bloody hot. We had our first official game on Saturday and I think we took ourselves by surprise. We took it right up to the "Guelph Gargoyles". Even though we only kicked 2 goals against them the field play was fairly even. I got a fair few knocks during the game and by the end of the game I reckon all of our 13 players were injured. I had a bit of a shocker on Saturday night after the game when we went out downtown. After a few drinks some Sheila wanted to swap shirts for a laugh as half our team were wearing TU-TU's from a group of girls hens night. After a few minutes I tried to get my favorite t-shirt back before I got beaten up but I couldn't find the girl anywhere. After about half an hour of being laughed at and stopping the band halfway through a song to make at joke at me I realized she had gone. The next thing I knew the bouncer was grabbing my arm and kicking me out on the street in a boob tube. So yeah it was a fantastic night sitting on the gutter in a boob tube waiting for my mates to come out. On Sunday it was beaut weather so I decided to check out the beach. To my surprise it wasn't too bad apart from the polluted lake water but it had about 60 volleyball nets set up and they were being used. It even had sand apart from one part which is swamp weeds but overall not to shabby at all. So there ya go that pretty much how my last 3 or 4 days have gone.
